11th Annual East Meets West Health & Business Fair
Webster, MA – Join Life-Skills, Inc. and Page Chiropractic Health Center at the 11th annual East Meets West Health & Business Fair fundraiser at Bartlett High School gymnasium on April 28, 2018 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. This interactive fair offers free screenings, raffles, demonstrations & more from a wide variety of conventional and holistic vendors and local businesses. Life-Skills, Inc. is also hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive at this event and are appealing to individuals to register to donate blood and help to replenish supplies that are critically low in this area. Donators will receive a gift certificate for beverage and sandwich from Dippin’ Donuts in Dudley, MA.
This fair is FREE and open to the community, and every visitor can enter into the drawing for a 40” flat screen Smart TV! The event will feature approximately 50+ new and returning holistic and conventional vendors as well as many local businesses offering free health screenings, demonstrations, giveaways and raffles. This is a great opportunity for vendors to promote their business and services, and they are prepared to make this experience a shopping adventure as well! The fair will also offer both new indoor and outdoor activities. Outside vendors will include Harrington Hospital Wellness Bus, Second Chance Animal Shelter Mobile Unit, Webster Fire Department, and the Dudley Fire Department Safe House.
The Second Chance Animal Mobile Unit will offer a low-cost Vaccine & Microchip Clinic from 12:00 p.m. – 3 p.m. Fees for the walk-up clinic are $12 rabies, $12 distemper, & $20 Microchip. (Dogs must be leashed and cats crated). New indoor activities will include a “Mom & Me” paint day – just in time for Mother’s Day! Instruction and materials will be provided by Odonata Artistic Services, and a portion of the proceeds from the paintings will benefit Life-Skills, Inc. NY Life will be providing a Child ID Program including digital fingerprinting and photo ID which will be printed on-site. This service is free and children must have a parent or guardian present to participate.
There is something for everyone. You can enjoy free samples of food, beauty products, demonstrations, and much more while you learn about great local wellness resources available to you and (your pets)!
