Charlton Arts & Activities Center Annual Trunk or Treat

Charlton Arts & Activities Center Annual Trunk or Treat
The Charlton Arts & Activities Center at 4 Dresser Hill Road in Charlton is holding its 7th Annual Trunk or Treat event on Sunday, October 22nd. The property is donned with an array of both fun and spooky Halloween decorations to appeal to Trunk or Treaters of all ages. For those who are unfamiliar with Trunk or Treat, it’s just like Trick or Treat but without the houses! Families decorate their trunks or truck beds and children walk from trunk to trunk collecting treats. This is a great alternative for families who live in neighborhoods with few houses. Trunk or Treating is not only safer than walking down dark streets, but for $5.00 per carload, we offer crafts, games, a parade of costumes, bewitching stories by the fire, and a feeling of community involvement. Prizes are awarded for best costumes and trunk decorations, and an assortment of refreshments including warm apple cider will be offered for a minimal charge. The event runs from 1pm to 4pm and those volunteering with a Treat Trunk need to arrive by 12pm in order to set up their decorations. Treat Trunks, which are not charged an admission fee, are still needed to make this a can’t-miss event so please call Mrs.Petrik at 508-248-9548 to sign up.

If you can’t come but still want to support this event (the CAAC is a not-for-profit organization), we would welcome any individually wrapped candy donations which could be dropped off at the Bittersweet Gift Shop during store hours.

Schedule of Events:
1pm: Start Trunk or Treating
1:45pm-2pm: Parade of Costumes
2pm-4pm: Crafts & Refreshments
2:30pm: Costume & Trunk Prizes Awarded
