19th Annual Dog Walk
The date is set for the 19th Annual Dog Walk sponsored by Dog Orphans, Inc. On May 7th the walk will be held at River Bend Farm in Uxbridge, MA. Registration starts at 12:00pm and lots of local vendors, rescues, food and activities are planned for the day. It will take place rain or shine! Dog Orphans, Inc. is only successful by the support of the local community and they encourage all to share information about this much anticipated event. Dog Orphans, Inc., was founded 45 years ago by a small group of animal lovers dedicated to saving dogs from pain and suffering and continue to be just as dedicated to this mission. Dog Orphans, Inc. houses stray, homeless and unwanted dogs until suitable permanent homes are found. They teach and promote the importance of responsible dog ownership including spaying and neutering. They do this without considering euthanasia unless a dogs health or temperament is seriously compromised. Most of all, they vet, feed and shelter their orphan dogs without state or federal aid. Dog Orphans, Inc. survives solely on donations and they greatly appreciate the generosity of the public.
