4th Annual Hounds & Sounds Music Fest
Dog Orphans, Inc., a local no-kill and non-profit animal shelter has announced that 4th Annual Hounds & Sounds Music Fest will be held on Saturday, August 14th from noon to 5:30pm at Singletary Rod & Gun in Oxford. Join Dog Orphans, Inc. and rock your paws off! There will be live music, kid’s games, doggie water park, great food, beverages, lots of vendors with an abundance of raffle items, a golf ball drop with a chance to win $1,000 and so much more! Come meet the many rescues that will be on hand and available for adoption.
A few different bands will perform live with a variety of music all day! Music and bands will be determined and announced at a later date. Stay tuned for updates. Currently The Fat City Band and The Love Dogs will perform again this year to get everyone’s groove on! A fun day for the whole family including your furry friends!
Volunteers are needed to help make this event a success! Areas where volunteers will be especially helpful BEFORE the event include the coordination and collection of items for the raffle baskets, the assembly of the raffle baskets, soliciting sponsorships for the event, selling tickets, distributing flyers and other marketing duties.
On the day of the event, help is needed with setting up at 10am, running the ticket booth and serving ice cream. Dog Orphans, Inc. is in need of parking monitors, doggie water park helpers, golf ball ticket sellers, raffle ticket sellers and more.
Dog Orphans, Inc. are still accepting event sponsors! Sponsorships for the event are available at three levels: Gold Level is $1,000; Silver Level is $500, and Bronze Level is $250. Each of these levels gives the sponsor a free space at the event and complimentary admission tickets, along with many other opportunities to market your business.
Are you in a professional band or are you a vendor? Dog Orphans, Inc. is currently seeking musically talented animal lovers and bands for live music. They are also in need of event vendors. The cost is just $50 for a table. Your business will be advertised in flyers, websites and social media with weekly updates.
If you are interested in being a volunteer, sponsor, musical act or vendor please contact Dog Orphans, Inc. at 508-476-1855 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible and a sponsor form will be emailed to you. You can also stop by the shelter located at 90 Webster St. (Rte. 16) in Douglas and talk to their staff. Both staff and “temporary residents” would love to meet you.
Your support is very much appreciated. The Hounds & Sounds Music Fest would not be a success without all of you. All proceeds from this event benefit the Dog Orphans Humane Society.
