Come Discover Blessings Farm
Blessings Farm was founded in 2003 by John (Jack) and Virginia (Lois) Scott. Perhaps Jack or Lois can give you the answer to this question; what came first, the love of the horse or the love of the ministry? Jack and Lois have witnessed first hand the sadness of neglected and underprivileged children. Their heart is to minister to these children and build them a safe and secure facility to nurture a love of horses.
With the help of volunteers and donations, Jack has been able to build a barn to house the horses as well as an indoor arena for all-weather riding. This is just the beginning of Jack and Lois’ mission.
Today, Blessings Farm ministry has some lofty goals. They currently have 9 horses on the property. There have been successful Beginning Horsemanship courses completed by students who have found a confidence that was once hidden, a love and appreciation for horses that has flowed freely and a desire to learn more.
On Saturday, June 27th from 9am-3pm they will be having an open house, rain or shine. Stop on down for pony rides, vendors, food, tag and bake sales, raffles and more. There will be drill team presentations at 10:30am and 1:00pm. The Farm is located at 50 H. Foote Road in Charlton.
