Dudley Woman’s Club to Offer Six Scholastic Awards
DUDLEY – The Dudley Woman’s Club is pleased to announce their 2017 Scholastic Awards to six female residents of Dudley, Webster and Charlton. Four Scholarships will go to graduating female Seniors of Shepherd Hill Regional High school, Bartlett High School and Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical School. Two Scholarships will also be awarded to nontraditional adult women returning to college or to an accredited training program. The Dudley Woman’s Club (DWC) will award six $500 scholarships for academic year 2016-2017 will be distributed as follows: two high school senior girls residing in Dudley, one high school senior residing in Webster, one high school senior residing in Charlton, plus 2 women returning to school after a break in education attendance. The Dudley Woman’s Club’s mission is public service, with an emphasis on literacy and learning. Our group has offered scholarship awards since our first year as the DWC and we are excited to have been able to add more scholarships along the way.
