Empowering Women in Business Conference, March 26, Announces Workshop Lineup
(Dudley, MA) With topics ranging from starting a business to visioning one’s future to building a professional wardrobe, the Empowering Women in Business Conference on March 26, 2015, will offer practical, hands-on workshops for women and students to give them the tools they need to move forward in their careers. Hosted by the Institute for Women’s Leadership at Nichols College, and offered as part of the College’s Bicentennial celebration, the conference will take place on the campus starting at 2 pm with a networking and exhibitor session. Actual check-in for the conference will begin at 3:30 p.m. The event will also offer networking, a light dinner buffet, a resume consultation, and the opportunity to visit more than 20 exhibitor tables.
The conference will feature keynote speaker Amy Roloff on the topic of “Succeeding at the Entrepreneur of YOU both Personally and Professionally.” A television personality, entrepreneur, and motivational speaker, Roloff will share her inspirational story, much of which has been chronicled in the television series, Little People, Big World. In addition to her reality television show, Roloff has appeared in a number of media outlets such as The View, Jay Leno, Oprah, Good Morning America, The Today Show, Rachael Ray, and CNN.
Attendees are once again encouraged to bring gently-used professional clothing and accessories to benefit “Dress for Success” Worcester, an organization that provides attire and support to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women.
