Good food, in a friendly, casual atmosphere at My Brothers’ Place
Since they opened in 2009, My Brothers’ Place has been living up to a goal they set for themselves 6 years ago: To provide a high quality product at a reasonable price in a clean and enjoyable atmosphere. Located on Route 16, close to Webster Lake and 395, My Brothers’ Place is a great place to go for some delicious food in a friendly, casual atmosphere.
Both regulars and newcomers are welcomed by the waitstaff, and are seated in booths, surrounded by walls that are painted in the same shade of green as Fenway’s “Green Monster.” The menu ranges from classics like their famous clam chowder, and other fried seafood, to Italian favorites like Chicken Parm or a delicious grilled ribeye. If you’re looking for something a bit lighter, choose from one of their salads or classic sandwiches. Their juicy burgers are especially delicious, and in combination with their amazing onion rings, it’s a match that can’t be beat!
My Brothers’ Place also has bar seating and serves wine and beer. They feature a carefully selected array of craft beers that often include beers which you may actually have trouble finding anywhere else. Currently on tap is a Bourbon County Coffee Stout from Goose Island that is incredibly rare, along with a few other seasonal choices. If you’ve heard of it before, than no explanation is needed, but if you like a good stout, this is one of the best, so make sure you get some before it’s gone!
New events are always popping up, like special dinners featuring a set menu, paired with choice wines or beers, and most recently, cruise nights featuring some great classic cars. There is really something for everyone, and they even serve a great breakfast on Saturdays.
So next time you are headed out to the lake on Saturday morning, looking for a place to unwind after work on a weeknight with a good beer, or maybe just grab a great bowl of chowder and a sandwich for lunch, stop by this little gem on Rt. 16, you won’t be disappointed! They are located at 144 Gore Road (Rt. 16) in Webster, MA. Find out more on their website at www.mybrothersplace144.com
