When many of you hear the familiar ring of the Salvation Army bells at Price Chopper it is important to note that at least 82% goes directly to program funding in the local area to help those most in need. The Salvation Army offers food, clothing, medicine, assistance with utility bills and other aid to area residents in financial distress. The Salvation Army also sends children to summer camp in Sharon, MA and provides toys to children and gifts to nursing home residents at Christmas time.

The Kettle Campaign at Price Chopper in Webster, MA officially starts November 14, 2016 at 9 a.m. and concludes on Christmas Eve. If you are interested in volunteering a few hours of your time this holiday season to support both Life-Skills Inc. and the Salvation Army in supporting local people in need, feel free to call Tony Yeulenski at 508-943-0700 x2105. Any help would be appreciated!
