Lindsay Adler standingatMill_2_-1Spring Into Song and Poetry of Love and Nature with folk musician Lindsay Adler on Saturday, March 28th from 2-3:30 p.m. at Booklovers’ Gourmet, 55 East Main Street in Webster, take yourself and a friend to this not to be missed intimate concert with Lindsay Adler: An afternoon of ancient traditional to original modern songs, instrumentals on a wide variety of stringed and other instruments (including hurdy gurdy and bouzouki) and poetry inspired by poetry and nature. Coffee, tea and desserts will be available for sale. Ticket price is $10 per person and can be reserved ahead of time by calling 508-949-6232. Space is limited. Lindsay Adler is a composer, multi-instrumentalist and vocalist who bridges the gap between ancient and modern folk music, crossing cultural boundaries with her unique blend of acoustic fusion.

Praised by critics, she is featured on NPR, documentary film, radio and television programming. Her album latest album titled “Spirals Of Love” can be heard on the air. Known for her skillful approach to the guitar and graceful fluidity playing a wide variety of exotic instruments including the vielle a roue, bouzouki, native flute, percussion and others. She engages the audience with her quick wit, knowledge of folklore, humor and flexible vocal stylings. She also writes for children and is known for her entertaining and educational children’s performances as “Mother Nature.”
