St. Andrew Bobola to resurrect their Big Top tent Polish Festival
St. Andrew Bobola Church will revive its go-to event of the year – its Parish Festival – on Friday and Saturday, August 26 and 27, 2016 on the church grounds at 54 West Main St, Dudley, MA. Two days of family fun and entertainment, Polish and American Food, Grand Prize money raffle, Gift basket raffles, hourly 50/50 money raffles, Pastry Booth, Quilt raffle, Flat Screen TV raffle, and kids games and prizes/raffles booth! Festivities start Friday at 4:30pm. with music for dancing provided by Maestro’s Men, starting at 6. Saturday’s events begin at 11am with a Chicken Bar-B-Que (advance sale tickets only, available from the rectory) at 12:30pm. An Outdoor Mass will be held at 3:30, followed by entertainment and dancing to The Eddie Foreman Orchestra beginning at 5:30pm.
Polish food includes Cheese, Cabbage and “Ruskie” Pierogi, Kielbasa, Kapusta, Golabki, Potato Pancakes and a Polish Platter (ALL made by the local parishioners)! Fr. Chris (the pastor of St. Andrews) will again make and sell his Polish Dill pickles! American Food for sale includes Hot Dogs, Hambugrers, Cheeseburgers and French Fries, cooked to order. Pierogis, frozen by the half or dozen, will also be available for take out.
