The 11th Annual Venture Wine, Beer & Food Festival
Sturbridge – Venture Community Services, one of the Commonwealth’s leading providers of human services is holding its 11th Annual Wine, Beer & Food Festival on Thursday, September 17th at the Oliver Wight Tavern at Old Sturbridge Village. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m. and runs until 8:30 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit programs and services at Venture.
The charity festival, co-hosted with Ted’s of Charlton, and sponsored by Forensic Risk Alliance, Southbridge Savings Bank and TD Bank will feature a variety of wines, beers, ales, champagne and vodka as well as food prepared by the area’s top chefs. The evening will also include a silent auction with sporting event tickets, restaurant gift cards, wine and beer packages and great travel options to destinations such as St. Lucia and Antigua. There will be live music performed by Laura Folker and Andrew DaRos, a chance for guests to win a giant tower of wine with over 40 bottles, a photo station and games such as Venture beer pong and Guess the Grape.
The vendors include: Wormtown Brewery, Deep Eddy Vodka, Hardwick Winery, Horizon Beverage Fine Wines, Global Wines Importing, Shipyard Brewing, Devotion Vodka, Sturbridge Cheese & Chocolate, Paoletti’s of Charlton, Publick House Historic Inn, Oliver Wight Tavern and The Venture Day Program.
