The Janet Malser Humanities Trust Announces 2018 Grant Award Recipients
The Janet Malser Humanities Trust recently awarded their eighth annual distribution of grants to various local non-profit organizations totaling nearly $205,000.
The following are this year’s grant recipients: Bartlett High School Art Department, Webster; The Black Tavern Historical Society, Dudley; Capt. J. Knapp-Daughters of the American Revolution, Dudley Chapter; Chester C. Corbin Library, Webster; Dudley-Charlton Regional School District; Dudley Historical Commission; Fellowship Meal Program at St. Andrew Bobola Church, Dudley; General Ebenezer Learned DAR Chapter, Oxford; Oxford Firefighters Association; Oxford Middle School Music Department; St. Ann’s Church, Oxford; St. Vincent de Paul Society; Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Webster; Shepherd Hill Regional High School Music Dept., Dudley; Soldier Monument Committee, Webster; Southern Worcester County Educational Collaborative, Dudley; Town of Dudley Corbin Cemetery; Webster-Dudley Historical Society; Webster Lake Association.
The Janet Malser Humanities Trust was established in 2009 as a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation and started annual distributions of grants in 2011. Its purpose is to fund educational, cultural, historic, and charitable causes which fit the guidelines set in the Trust within the towns of Dudley, Oxford, or Webster, Massachusetts.
