WEbster Arts/Recreation Committee Kicks Off the Summer on June 15th!

The WEbster Arts/Recreation Committee is excited to bring another season of free opportunities and experiences for residents, and visitors to our community, to enjoy.

This year brings the inauguration of WEbster WEdnesdays, beginning July 5th and running through August 30th. Each week, we will transform French River Park into a marketplace with purveyors of arts, crafts and locally sourced agriculture from regional farmers. It will open at 5pm and run throughout the evening. Mark your calendars and check The WEbster Arts/Recreation Group Facebook page often for updates each week.

This season marks our 5th Annual Summer Concert Series at French River Park. Our season opens July 5th with Webster favorites, The Pulaski Brass Band. Last year we began each concert with performances by local student musicians and are elated to continue this tradition. Join us at French River Park by 6:15pm to catch them ahead of the main performance beginning at 6:30pm. Bring your chair/blanket, and appetite as The WEbster Arts/Recreation Committee will have water/soda, snacks and pizza available for purchase from the Webster House of Pizza.

We have the Massachusetts Walking Tour kick off Concert at Memorial Beach happening Thursday, June 15th at Memorial Beach from 6pm-8pm. This free concert celebrates the 8th Annual Bipedal Concert Tour promoting local arts and culture. Featured Locals include Grey Whisker Pickers, Haley Trudeau, Rachel and Abbi. Please check this out at masswalkingtour.org

Lastly, on Wednesday, June 28th, we will host the Bartlett High School Jazz Ensemble at French River Park beginning at 6pm. This will be accompanied by the art of the Bartlett High School Traditional and Digital Media Art Department. Please join us and support our students!
