Woman in Business, Inc. Holds October Networking Lunch at Tantasqua’s Cornerstone Cafe
Woman in Business, Inc. held its October meeting at the Cornerstone Cafe at Tantasqua High School on October 11th. Almost 30 members enjoyed a wonderful two-course meal prepared and served by the culinary students at Tantasqua High School.
Based off a theme of “entrepreneurship,” the guest speaker for the meeting was Holly Koswlowski, owner of WhopieeDoo and Cupcakes, Too, in Sturbridge. She offered her story on going from making a small amount of homemade whoopie pies out of her home to launching a very busy store earlier this year in the Sturbridge Mill, featuring cupcakes, whoopie pies, pastries, custom cake orders and more!
The next meeting for Woman in Business took place on Wednesday, November 8th at 5 p.m. at Christopher Heights in Webster. Guests enjoyed an evening of great fellowship, fine food, and information from leaders motivated by a desire to bring women together to celebrate health and professionalism. Special guests Northeastern Connecticut Women and Girls Fund. The dynamic topic of “Body, Mind, and Spirit Health” from Dr. Erica Kesselman, MD, FACOG.
Woman in Business, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) organization that supports women by fostering networking, sharing information and experiences and providing educational opportunities.
